NOTICE OF 23rd ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

This is to give notice to all members of the Vancouver Singapore Club that the 23rd Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held as follows:-

Date & Time: Saturday, 21 April 2012 ( 12 pm to 3 pm)

Members may nominate the candidates for the 2012-2013 Executive Committee at the AGM or in writing using the attached nomination form. Completed nomination form may be received by the club ( mail or e-mail) no later than Wednesday 18 April 2012.

Members in good standing may stand for election and may vote at the AGM. There will be no proxy voting.

Buffet lunch will be served at the meeting. For restaurant preparation please return the attached attendance form to the club, via e-mail or mail, no later than Wednesday 18 April 2012,

We would like to give you a heads-up on Vancouver Singapore Club coming events:-

1. July 9, 2011 Saturday? 11.00 am to 2 pm.- Annual Picnic:- free? for members. Visitors (at $15.00) are welcome.
Fresh food experience!??? Singapore Cuisine!
Where:???? Barnett Marine Park,???? off Barnett Highway, Coquitlam.

2. Singapore National day celebrations with a dinner and dance on Friday August 12, 2011 from 6 pm to 11 pm. There will be food, sing songs & donation draws. Tickets are at $35 each, or $350 for a table of 10 .? More info later.

3. For your info, the Singapore Government has appointed Mr. Terrance Salman as Honorary Consul-General for Singapore in Vancouver.
