NOTICE OF 25TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Dear VSC Members,
NOTICE is hereby given that the 25th Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held as follows:
Date/Time: Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:00 am
Venue: Pink Pearl Restaurant, 1132 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, V6A 1S2
The Agenda, Reply Form and Nomination Form are attached for your kind attention.
Nominations for the new Executive Committee may be made at the Annual General Meeting or in writing on the Nomination Form provided. Completed Nomination Form must be received by the Club by mail or email, NOT later than May 21, 2014.
Members in good standing, residing in Canada and above 18 years of age, are eligible to vote and to stand for election. Candidates standing for the post of President and Vice-President must be a citizen, ex- citizen, permanent resident or ex-permanent resident of Singapore. All nominees must sign the ?Nomination Form For Executive Committee 2014-2015? form if elected. An elected official shall hold office until the next Annual General Meeting. If your membership has expired, please renew it immediately. All cheques for general membership at $25 per year must be issued in favour of Vancouver Singapore Club.
All members are encouraged to attend this AGM and to exercise their voting rights as members of the Club. Members and their spouses (in good standing) present at the meeting are entitled to one vote each. There will be NO voting by proxy. Lunch will be served after the AGM business is completed.
For restaurant reservation purpose, please return the attendance slip to the Club by mail or email NOT later than 5:00 pm, May 21, 2014.
