NOTICE is hereby given that the 26th Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held as follows:
Date/Time: Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 am
Venue: St. Theresa?s Parish Hall, 5146 Laurel Street, Burnaby, BC V5G 1M9
Nominations for the new Executive Committee may be made at the Annual General Meeting or in writing on the Nomination Form provided. Completed Nomination Form must be received by the Club by mail or email, NOT later than May 1, 2015.
Members in good standing, residing in Canada and above 18 years of age, are eligible to vote and to stand for election. Candidates standing for the post of President and Vice-President must be a citizen, ex citizen, permanent resident or ex-permanent resident of Singapore. All nominees must sign the ?Nomination Form For Executive Committee 2015-2016? form if elected. An elected official shall hold office until the next Annual General Meeting. If your membership has expired, please renew it immediately. All cheques for general membership at $25 per year must be issued in favour of Vancouver Singapore Club.
All members are encouraged to attend this AGM and to exercise their voting rights as members of the Club. Members and their spouses (in good standing) present at the meeting are entitled to one vote each. There will be NO voting by proxy. Lunch will be served after the AGM business is completed.
